"Better than Crysis"? People, a PS3 is $400. You're telling me a $400 machine can run a game with better graphics than a game that takes a computer worth thousands of dollars to run? Top of the line computers and graphics cards can barely run crysis, but a $400 PS3 can run crysis, or even a game that looks better than crysis? $400 people!!!!
Another thing I hate about the xbox is that microsoft tries to force every single game that is released to have an on-line component, even when a game doesn't need to be on-line at all. MS would never release a masterpiece like shadow of the collosus, even if they could, just because it has no on-line component. Quit shoving that scum-pit called xbox LIVE down our throats MS.

Yes, I've played the game. I shouldn't have called it "terrible", thats a bit harsh, but it just put me to sleep (and I like JRPGS, so I'm not easily put to sleep.) Jeanne's post just sounded like a Sony press release.

I think the PS3 can outsell the 360 this year, even in the US. But I think it'll be a close race and I think Sony will have to keep pushing every step of the way. A million videogame magazines and websites were calling 2007 the greatest videogame year ever, but 2008 will absolutely destroy 2007, and really WILL be the best game year ever. Joe Six Pack doesn't use digital distribution at all and he doesn't own a blu-ray disk player. Joe Six Pack still has a DVD player and a standard-def TV. Blu-ray and digital distribution are both almost completely irrelevant as of now and it will be years before Joe Six Pack moves on from DVD.
It'll be interesting to see what GTA does for these two consoles. I used to think that GTA was going to make PS3 sales skyrocket because most people associate GTA with playstation. But it sounds like MS is going to hype the hell out of GTA and their DLC, and I know MS knows how to hype something up (see Halo), so maybe GTA will end up moving more 360s than PS3s. I don't know, have to wait and see.

Sweet. Except the "chinatown" map is just the old Carentan map from COD2 with a different look and better graphics. This chinatown map is supposedly "fan service" for fans of COD2, but it just seems like a way to put out a new map and not spend much money to me. I've played that old Carentan map a thousand times and I'm tired of it. Still, COD4 came with a ton of free maps, and its a great game. So count me in.
A. Just because something's popular doesn't mean that its good.
B. COD4 has been number 1 on xbox live for a long time now.
C. Halo 3 has bright pink and purple everywhere, and aliens with little kid voices.
D. The reason everyone bought Halo 3 is because it got so much hype, and because microsoft purchased a whole bunch of great reviews for it from videogame reviewers (whores).
